Eating in Vietnam

It's a pity that nothing ever remains the same same.

Gotta give them points for their honesty...? Was the food good good?

Didn't eat there... I was on a mission to find some of their coffee that tastes like condensed milk flavoured thickshake.

At least you made it to 'nam (or are only Vets allowed to call it that?). After your previous post it was hard to know where you'd end up.

Need to know more about this coffee...

Everybody seems to, so I don't see why not. Undoubtedly the vets are more concerned with the tirade of aggression towards them post 'nam than the indiscriminant use of their abbrevs.

So like, get some super strong plunger or drip coffee, then add a liberal dollop of condensed milk. Hey presto, as they say. I'm sure you should use Vietnamese coffee (which is sweeter) but whatevs.

But Davey! I want to know did anyone offer you a fresh glass of still-warm snake's blood????

Hmmm. Actually, cancel that. I don't want to know. (Poor snakes.)

Am looking forward to hearing more travel tales.
